Colourcall is a spatial design and visual Merchandise project, to redesign reception space at National Institute of Fashion Technology ➚. It revolves around a theme of colour blocking, with a palette spreading from warm to cool colours through the space. The main aim was to add colours to the otherwise administrative grey spaces of the NIFT Gandhinagar Reception Space. Various spaces of the area are renewed by adding a full scale 3-D illusion wall, dripping yarn-colours, ombre mesh, quirky design school 3-D Graphite, and a comic mural representing the lives of NIFT students.

The project offered challenging experiences to redesign a space that represents the spirit of a design school, while dealing with the administrative red tape that comes with installing art in a government building. It proved to be a rewarding opportunity seeing our sketches and ideas come to life, contributing permanently to our alma mater’s spaces.
